The Role
In this pivotal position, you'll be responsible for the smooth, safe, and efficient running of all warehouse operations—from goods-in to final dispatch. You'll lead a dedicated team, ensure seamless inventory control, and champion best practices across health & safety, logistics, space management, and customer service.
Your key areas of responsibility will include:
* Managing day-to-day operations across receiving, storage, and dispatch
* Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team
* Overseeing stock control, audits, and replenishment
* Optimising warehouse layout, equipment usage, and space planning
* Coordinating with logistics providers and internal stakeholders
* Driving continuous improvement, efficiency, and cost control
* Ensuring full compliance with health & safety regulations
* Delivering operational excellence through KPI tracking and data-led decision-making
Requirements

* Experienced in managing warehouse operations in a similar fast-paced environment
* Confident in leading teams, setting performance standards, and promoting a positive workplace culture
* Highly organised with strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset
* Proficient in using data and KPIs to drive performance
* Well-versed in compliance, health & safety, and warehouse systems
* Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
* Experience in vendor management, shipping coordination, and sustainability practices will also be advantageous
