Technical Sales Engineer

2 roles – 1 North of England, 1 South of England

4 days travel, 1 day at home

Purpose of Role: Technical Sales Engineer is a field-based role to cover (Area) of England and offers a unique opportunity to become a key member of a new, dynamic and goal-oriented team growing the Key Accounts in some of the largest Sand & Aggregate market worth over 10m of business a year with the potential to contribute to the growth of the current defined territories

Key Responsibilities:

4. Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
5. The ability to grow bottom-up business with new customers with a proactive approach to selling
6. Represent Weir in-front of the customer whist offering technical guidance & product demonstrations
7. Problem solving and optimisation on our customer’s plants
8. Maintain the CRM system for opportunities and sales pipeline

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

9. Proven Track record in External technical Sales Role
10. Engineering Qualification or experience in the application-based salesHave a good working knowledge of the key related industries including sand and gravel, Mineral processing, industrial applications and solution sellingProven Track record in External technical Sales Role

Must be permanently authorised to work in the country to which you are applying, without sponsorship, have a full UK driving licence and fluent in English.
