Not only ideal for existing managers this Registered Children’s Home Manager role is a great step up for a duty manager or someone looking to transfer from adult social care services. Working for a reputable and well-established company the residential care home is a purpose built high spec building. This role allows you to build your own team of professionals to work with along with career opportunities and a generous bonus package paid on budget, staff retention and Ofsted inspections.

The company provides exceptional care and support to young people learning disabilities. In your role you will be working under leadership from a supportive Operations Director from a children’s services background.

As Registered Children’s Home Manager you will:

Leadership and Management - Managing the day-to-day operations of the residential care home, rota planning, supervising and supporting a team of care staff ensuring the home provides a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for all young people.
Compliance and Quality Assurance - Preparing for and manage Ofsted inspection, conducting regular audits and inspections.
Care Planning and Support - Developing and implementing individual care plans, providing direct support to young people addressing their emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs, ensuring they receive appropriate therapeutic interventions
Safeguarding - Acting as the designated safeguarding lead, ensuring all staff are trained and knowledgeable about safeguarding policies and procedures.

We would love to hear from anyone with the following skills and experiences about this Registered Children’s Home Manager opportunity:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (or equivalent).
Previous experience working with young people with emotional and behavioural needs, mental health issues (CAHMS), attachment and trauma histories, and/or learning disabilities and Autism.
Proven experience in a managerial role within a residential care setting.
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and standards.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualised care plans.

This is a 40 hours per week role plus on calls on a 4 week rolling rota based in Telford.

In return you will receive a salary of £55,000 - £60,000 pa based on experience plus generous bonus, pension, free on site parking and staff benefits.
