Job overview
To work with supervision and guidance in providing and maintaining a high standard of patient care for those patients undergoing surgery. The post holder will be expected to undertake Peri-operative circulating duties as the need arises and work as part of a multi-professional team. The post holder will also be required to receive patients into the department, escort them to the anaesthetic room/theatre, providing comfort and support whilst maintaining respect, privacy and dignity and confidentiality.
Main duties of the job
We are looking to recruit a full time healthcare support worker to become part of the team within RHCH theatres
The post holder will have very good communication skills and be able to provide support for the patients undergoing procedures. The post holder will be responsible for collecting and handing over the patient prior to surgery following the WHO guidelines.
