What You Will Do
Join our community team of Dietitians and Assistant Practitioners who cover South Ayrshire. Nutritional care is provided to GP Practice clinics, associated domiciliary visits and local Care Homes. The team are aligned to 4 Localities within the South Ayrshire Health & Social Care Partnership. You should possess the necessary knowledge and skills to provide a generalist clinical service, deliver education & training for the multi-disciplinary team and condition-related groups. In addition you will support uni-professional and Paramedic practice placements. The team is exploring a model to provide a quality assured service that meets the needs of our communities, and you can help shape our future service.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
* Degree/Post-graduate Diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics
* Registered Dietitian (HCPC)
* Demonstrated range and depth of experience, competence and skills in a variety of conditions & settings, particularly stroke rehabilitation
* Knowledge of relevant National Clinical & Professional Strategies/Standards & Guidelines
Hours and Location
Hours: up to 37 hours per week. The team is currently based in Ailsa Hospital with a potential move of base to Prestwick in the coming months. There is also some opportunity for working from home and consideration of flexible working.
Requirements
UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership is essential to this role. A full UK/EU/EEA licence is required.
