Offer description

Your new company

I am delighted to partner with a truly innovative business who is going through an exciting period of rapid growth and who has ambitious plans for the future too. The company wants to cement their place as market leaders in their field within the global maritime industry.

The company boasts a proud (and extensive) portfolio of key customers from across the industry.

Your new role

You will join the business as a Talent Partner in a new position created to drive planned talent initiatives across recruitment, succession planning and early career development. You will report to the HR Director and join an HR team of 3. You will own and manage the full recruitment lifecycle, collaborate with and manage the expectations of hiring managers and, support international offices, whilst enhancing employer branding to attract top talent. This role will also ensure business continuity and contribute to scale up growth by identifying key roles and developing succession plans, while nurturing internal talent for future leadership. Additionally, you will design and manage early career programmes to build a pipeline of skilled professionals for high-value and niche roles.

This position is based in their Chandlers Ford office, with travel once a week to the London office and occasional international travel in the future. As such, it is important that you have experience of travelling as required in a role or a willingness to do so. You have the option to WFH one day a week and this could be a Friday or another weekday depending on your diary and the needs of the role / business.

What you'll need to succeed

This autonomous position will suit a strong communicator who can confidently present complex ideas to the senior management team. You must like to be interactive, work collaboratively and be assertive enough to be comfortable challenging ideas, whilst also having your ideas challenged on occasions to achieve a mutual target or goal.
Experience of recruiting for a variety of job titles at all levels and having worked in an Internal Recruitment or Talent Acquisition Partner role or similar is preferred (5-8 years+), but similar agency experience could be suitable too.

A background in the marine or maritime sector would be ideal, but other industries, such as automotive, aviation, logistics and supply chain, manufacturing and engineering will be considered too. You must be able to demonstrate managing stakeholder groups in relation to hiring plans, forming succession plans and creating and managing early career programmes. A commitment to your continued professional development, a commercial understanding and appreciation of employer branding and experience of working with international teams or a willingness to is also required.

What you'll get in return

You will join a hugely ambitious, rapidly growing company and enjoy working in fantastic offices and for a business which has an excellent reputation and is a leader in its field.

You will receive a salary between £48,000-£55,000 / annum (DOE), 25 days' holiday +BH's, pension, private medical insurance, life insurance (x3 salary) and free on-site parking in a great location in Hampshire.
