Spire Harrogate are looking for a Bank Healthcare assistant to join the team on a part time basis. We are looking for someone with experience in an outpatient/clinic/GP Practice or similar background. Spire Harrogate Clinic provides outpatient and day case treatments by a team of dedicated consultants and healthcare professionals. The clinical specialties include ophthalmology, dermatology, gynaecology, orthopaedics, and a private GP service.
Clinic shift times:
1. 8-16:00/17:00
8-18:00
10-20:00
12-20:00
8-20:30
Clinic Opening hours:
2. Monday - Friday 0800-20:00
3. Saturday 0800-16:00
4. Sunday - Closed
The responsibilities of this role will include:
5. Assisting the team across outpatients and theatres in the provision of exemplary patient care
6. Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
7. Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being to the appropriate person
8. Assisting with the movement of patients in line with clinic policies
The Ideal candidate will have:
9. Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinic or hospital environment
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
11. Experience in : ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient observations - Desirable
12. Good team work ethic
13. Enthusiastic and energetic professional
14. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
15. NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care /Care Certificate / NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
