We are seeking a degree-qualified Electrical or Mechanical Engineer (or equivalent) who is early in their career - either a recent graduate or with up to a few years' industrial experience. This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to get deeply involved in the operation, maintenance, and improvement of complex production machinery.
Working closely with our experienced team, you will:
* Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
* Identify and implement modifications to machines and systems to simplify processes and reduce downtime.
* Work on creative engineering solutions for new challenges.
* Collaborate with operations and management to support continuous improvement projects.
* Play an active role in designing and testing new systems, prototypes, and process enhancements.
Essential requirements:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
* Strong practical skills, with a willingness to get hands-on with machines and tools.
* Analytical and creative problem-solving ability.
* Self-starter with initiative and an appetite for learning.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Desirable experience (not essential):
* Industrial placement, internship, or first role in a manufacturing or production environment.
* Familiarity with automation, control systems, or machine design.
* Knowledge of CAD or other design/engineering software.
