Hays are proud to be working in partnership with a large, well-established public sector organisation to recruit multiple Band 3 Finance Officers to join their Finance team in Omagh.
Your new role
As Finance Officer, you will provide key administrative and financial support within a busy finance function.
Duties will include:
1. Processing financial information in line with set procedures and deadlines
2. Supporting reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
3. Handling queries from a range of stakeholders and providing timely support
4. Assisting with prompt payment processes and financialpliance
5. Inputting, validating and maintaining financial data across systems
6. Managing correspondence, emails and general administrative tasks
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will:
7. Have a minimum of 4 GCSEs (A–C), including Maths and English, or equivalent
8. Have at least 1–2 years’ experience within a finance or office environment, ideally involving financial systems and processes
9. Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
