About the role
Join our team as an Area Sales Manager and drive success in your region! You will be responsible for achieving sales targets and gross margin goals, developing smart strategies with our sales channels to maximize results. Main responsibilities:
1. Manage direct and indirect sales channels to achieve and exceed sales and gross margin targets
2. Develop and execute territory sales strategies with sales channels to drive growth and market penetration
3. Apply effective channel management to maximize sales opportunities and profitability
4. Build strong relationships with key strategic customers
5. Travel regularly within territories to coach and support sales teams in meeting targets
6. Organize meetings with important customers to understand needs and provide solutions
7. Negotiate and finalize contracts in line with company policies
8. Monitor market trends and competitors, providing insights for business growth
9. Analyze sales performance, identify improvements, and address gaps
10. Collaborate with marketing and product management to align strategies and optimize resources
What you need to be successful
11. Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial capital equipment sales, preferably in healthcare packaging
12. Degree in engineering, business administration, or related field
13. Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages a plus
14. Willingness to travel up to 50% globally
15. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
16. Result-oriented team player with personal drive
17. Able to work independently and manage priorities effectively
18. Customer-focused mindset with proven relationship-building skills
19. Proficient in MS Office, CRM, and other sales tools
