As the new Quality Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality control within a food manufacturing environment. * Hours: 06:30 - 15:30, or 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
* Supporting the quality assurance team in ensuring all products meet the required standards and specifications.
* Carrying out routine inspections and testing of products at various stages of the production process.
* Maintaining accurate records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions.
* Assisting with troubleshooting quality issues and implementing solutions.
* Monitoring and auditing production processes to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
* Reporting on quality performance and providing feedback to the production team.
Background / Qualifications
* Have a keen eye for detail and an understanding of quality standards in manufacturing.
* Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
* Have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Previous experience in a quality assurance or manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential.
* Have a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
* Be comfortable working in a cold environment.
