Join to apply for the UK Data Operations Specialist role at BYD EUROPE
* Collect and analyse daily/weekly/monthly KPIs: OTD, inventory accuracy, DOH, inbound/outbound efficiency, cost variance, shrinkage, etc.; deliver interactive dashboards to the Warehouse Manager and HQ.
* Maintain master data (locations, material masters, suppliers, batches, serial numbers), monitor interface sync, troubleshoot failed postings; lead system upgrades, UAT and user training.
* Collaborate with the inventory keeper to troubleshoot and adjust posting errors and the variances between physical stock and system stock.
* Generate 36-week rolling demand forecasts by using historical sales, seasonality, promotions and other models; liaise with Purchasing Team and Order Team to optimise replenishment.
* Analyse the cost of labour, FLT, packaging, energy—and propose Lean/Kaizen initiatives to cut annual operating cost.
* Coordinate with the DSC/DMS team, the SAP team, and the WMS team to provide feedback on system issues and optimization needs, and ultimately close the loop.
* 2+ years experience of international logistics / freight forwarding / carrier management; proven expertise in UK-EU import/export, Incoterms 2020 and customs updates.
* Bachelor’s or above in Logistics, International Trade, Supply-Chain or related; CILT(UK) Level 3, IATA FIATA or equivalent preferred.
* Proficient in TMS, SAP TM/LE, Excel Power Query, Power BI; SQL/Python for data extraction & visualisation is a plus.
* Deep knowledge of UK customs tariff, CDS, T1/T2 procedures, AEO/FAST-PLUS; familiar with ADR dangerous-goods regulations.
* Fluent English (written & spoken, C1+); Chinese or other European languages advantageous.
* Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills; PRINCE2 / PMP certification desirable.
* Data-driven, resilient, willing to work overtime during peak and occasional night shifts.
