As my personal assistant I would like you to assist me with my social support needs and ensure I am able to attend my Braille course and any other social care activities I wish to attend including shopping. I am an able bodied young female but do have Epilepsy seizures so the person who supports me should have some knowledge on this as my seizures are across the range of Epilepsy. applicants can highlight days and times they would prefer to work but must be available to cover other support sessions when colleagues are on annual leave or sick leave. Current DBS will be accepted with new check to be completed after probation period ends. The individuals needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required. You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately. You have a duty to report defects and / or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times. Due to the nature of the work for which you are applying, this post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure (costs will be covered).
