Key Responsibilities
* Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications and over-the-counter products
* Verify medication orders and ensure proper labeling and packaging of prescriptions
* Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles
* Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation, ordering, and restocking medications
* Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and educating patients on proper medication usage
* Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
* Maintain a clean and organised pharmacy workspace
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent (required)
* Pharmacy Technician certification
* Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Basic computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy software (preferred)
* Knowledge of medication names, dosages, and pharmaceutical terminology is a plus
