FemaleSupport Worker
Pay rate:£12.71 Days- £13.13 Nights

Shift Pattern:1 x 16-hour contract: 11am-15:00pm, 11am-16:00pm and 22:00pm-07:00am

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to support an individual with complex care needs and learning disabilities in her family home.This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by promoting independence and enhancing quality of life within a supportive environment.

You will support a friendly 33-year-old woman who enjoys arts and crafts, pampering, shopping, and spending time with her pets.She has Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO) and associated neurological complications, requiring consistent, person-centred care.Her needs include tracheostomy care and suctioning, PEG feeding for all nutrition and medication, management of steroid-dependent adrenal insufficiency, and monitoring of low blood pressure. She is a wheelchair user and uses a standing frame daily to support her wellbeing.

Experience and Skills of a Support Worker:

• A compassionate, patient, and reliable individual
• A full UK driving license.
• Someone confident working in a complex care environment (or willing to be trained)
• Strong communication skills and a person-centred approach
• Ability to remain calm and professional in changing situations.
• A genuine passion for supporting others and improving lives.
