We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to act as a key link between our production operations and management/compliance functions. This is a dual-role position combining hands-on engagement on the production floor with administrative, reporting, and compliance responsibilities. You will play an active role in supporting our Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring high standards across Health & Safety, Environmental compliance, and Product Quality. Key Responsibilities Carry out regular production floor inspections, engaging directly with operators and supervisors Complete and document monthly HSE inspections Assist with internal audits and follow-up actions Gather, analyse, and report on environmental performance data Promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with company procedures Act as a key link between production and management Provide daily and weekly updates to the Production Manager and Compliance Director Participate in: HSE Committee Meetings (HSECM) Management Review Meetings (MRM) About You Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with production teams and management Highly organised with strong attention to detail Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to balance hands-on operational work with administrative responsibilities Desirable (but not essential - all training provided!)
