What We Offer
To support the operation of the Bridgend Depot to maximise the amount of time workshop engineers are fully productive. Primary duties are listed below but you will be asked to undertake additional duties as directed by your manager.
Responsibilities
* Loading and unloading FLTs and associated equipment, including deliveries and collections from the depot, and assisting in locating equipment for collection.
* Organising the yard and associated storage areas.
* Cleaning of FLTs and associated equipment.
* Disposal of scrap equipment, including removing parts identified for future use.
* Assisting with trucks identified for trade and loading vehicles.
* Performing bodywork repairs, including filling, sanding, and painting of body panels and FLT parts.
* Maintaining high standards of housekeeping in the workshop and storage areas.
Tasks and Qualifications
* Proven ability to work effectively in a team and promote quality customer service.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
* Optimistic, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude with a willingness to 'go the extra mile'.
* Good numeracy and literacy skills.
* Energetic and motivated team player.
* Full driving license.
* Forklift truck license preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Experience in a similar workshop or logistics environment is desirable.
