CAD Technician

Qualifications and Requirements:
Generation and update of engineering drawings and models.
Execution of the companies document control procedures to correctly file and distribute drawings.
Modify and update existing CAD drawings and models as required.
Ensure all drawings are accurate, clearly dimensioned, and comply with company standards and relevant national standards.
Maintain and organize CAD drawing files and documentation.
Collaborate effectively with engineers, production teams, and other departments to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
Assist in the preparation of Bills of Materials (BOMs) from CAD drawings.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of CAD standards and procedures.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
T level or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., mechanical engineering, design engineering).
Proficiency in using industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor).
A good understanding of engineering drawing principles and practices.
