Job Title: Freight Quoting Specialist
Job Description
The Freight Quoting Specialist will manage data entry related to freight shipments, utilizing spreadsheets and emails. This role requires multitasking across multiple screens, focusing on accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Handle incoming emails and determine where information needs to be directed.
* Review spreadsheets to extract and enter necessary information into the system.
* Convert measurements as needed for shipment data.
* Identify parameters specific to different shipments.
* Enter shipping information and select appropriate rates using the Old Dominion website.
* Work towards improving the current processing time from 4-6 hours to 2-4 hours.
* Manage a daily volume of 30-50 incoming spreadsheets/emails, with potential peaks of up to 100.
Essential Skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
* Strong math skills.
* Administrative or data entry experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Experience in administrative support is beneficial.
Work Environment
This is an onsite position working within the logistics and transportation team. The role involves working at a personal desk area with multiple computer screens. The position operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a business casual dress code where jeans are acceptable.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $ $20.00/hr.
