About The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Finance Support Manager to lead a regional team of client finance professionals. This pivotal role involves overseeing high-volume finance processes, ensuring compliance with legislative and industry standards, and delivering outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team, making strategic decisions to optimize performance, and supporting business retention through operational excellence. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance leader to influence financial operations, develop talent, and contribute to the company's strategic objectives. The role is based at our Hoddesdon office and requires a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
* Proven experience managing a finance team with 5 to 10 direct reports
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* High attention to detail and organizational abilities
* Experience in high-volume finance processes and team leadership
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Knowledge of the property management industry (preferred)
* Experience in process development and business change (preferred)
* Relevant financial or business-related qualifications are advantageous
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage client account functions across a high-volume, multi-function environment to ensure efficiency and accuracy
* Make autonomous and collaborative decisions to drive team performance and operational excellence
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative requirements and industry best practices
* Deliver exceptional customer service, meeting or exceeding internal and external service levels
* Achieve financial targets and provide comprehensive reports on current performance and future planning
* Develop, mentor, and retain a highly skilled finance team to foster professional growth and continuous improvement
* Implement process improvements and support business change initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with organizational goals
