Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Estates Manager (Operational/Hard FM) On Call for The Redwoods Centre, Shrewsbury.
We are seeking an extraordinary and motivating Estates Manager who will be accountable for overseeing the day-to-day operational management of our comprehensive maintenance service for Hard FM, which includes, Maintenance PPM, minor new works improvements and delegated projects.
TheEstates Manager will be responsible fordirectlymanaging a team of Maintenance Supervisors, FM ServiceProviders,and specialist Contractors.Asacrucialmember of the Estates Management Team,youwillsuperviseand monitor the safe,efficient,and effectivedeliveryofservices.
You will provide instructions to staff and specialist contractors, monitor their progress, standards, and costs, and handle routine problems as they arise. You should have a proven track record in managing NHS (or similar) estates services, along with being an inspiring manager who values stakeholder engagement.
Main duties of the job
* Assist the Divisional Estates Lead to ensure statutory and mandatory compliance across the operational estates services
* These duties will cover all the divisions’ portfolio, including out of-area allocations.
* Manage the Maintenance and Minor Works Supervisors on a day-to-day basis.
* Manage allocated Trust wide operational projects as required – e.g. painting programme, etc.
* Act up as appropriate for the Divisional Estates Lead.
