The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you’ll support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping them access learning and develop key life skills. You’ll work closely with teachers, therapists and school staff to ensure every child has the chance to succeed.
You’ll need:
✅ Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (in schools or care/youth settings)
✅ A calm, patient, and resilient attitude
✅ A strong understanding of autism, SEMH or complex needs
✅ A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
