ROYAL NAVY CADET FORCES (RNCF) – DCOS PURPOSE Primary Purpose. RNCF DCOS is responsible for the management and coordination of N1 issues across the Royal Navy Cadet Forces and is to deputise for the RNCF COS. ACCOUNTABILITY RNCF DCOS is accountable to RNCF Chief of Staff for routine daily activity. AUTHORITY RNCF DCOS is authorised to: To represent Comd RNCF in matters of direct relevance to RNCF issues. To liaise directly with the Marine Society and Sea Cadets, any organisations involved in uniformed youth activity (Scouts Association, Girl Guiding UK etc), the Army and RAF Cadet Organisations, and RF&C. PRINCIPAL TASKS Principle tasks are: Lead on the management and coordination of N1 matters across the RNCF. Coordinate the management of N1 complaints and investigations including responses and recommendation application. Develop and cohere N1 policy across all elements including for cadets and adult volunteers. Lead on N1 issues associated with SDR growth strategy. Represent the RNCF at broader RN Senior WO engagements. Act as the focal point for Leadership and Culture development across the Force. Cohere N1 data and analysis to enable collaborative management and inform developmental work. Support wider RNCF information coherence.
