We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in people's homes.

Duties
* Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
* Provide specialised care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's, ensuring their safety and comfort
* Support patients with medication administration following prescribed protocols
* Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
* Engage in behaviour management strategies to promote positive interactions and routines
* Offer emotional support and companionship to enhance clients' quality of life
* Assist with light household tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe living environment
* Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation
* Respond promptly to emergencies using first aid skills when necessary
* Document care activities accurately in accordance with organisational policies
Requirements
* Previous care experience
* Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, and senior care is advantageous
* Proven caregiving skills with the ability to handle behavioural challenges compassionately
* Valid driving licence for transportation duties
* First aid certification or willingness to obtain training upon appointment
* Ability to perform manual handling tasks when necessary for client mobility or equipment handling
* Strong communication skills and a caring attitude towards clients of all ages, including children if applicable
* Flexibility to work shifts that may include evenings or weekends if required
* Reliable and organised individual committed to providing exceptional patient care
