We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurse to join our team on a part time basis starting at 16 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young children.
Duties
* Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in the nursery.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's development across all areas of learning.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their individual needs.
* Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure effective communication regarding their child's development and wellbeing.
* Support the management team in maintaining high standards of care and education within the nursery.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and nursery procedures.
Requirements
* A minimum L3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
* A genuine passion for working with children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and enthusiasm.
