Food And Beverage Assistant

Primary Objectives
* Supervise the day-to-day operations of the bar and catering facilities.
* Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and customer care.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the operation of the bar, restaurant, and kitchen.
* Prepare and cook meals and snacks as required.
* Perform front-of-house bar duties when necessary.
* Ensure all food is properly covered, stored, labeled, and dated in compliance with food safety regulations.
* Handle, store, prepare, and serve food to prevent contamination.
* Restrict access to kitchen and bar areas to authorized personnel only.
* Complete all cleaning duties during shifts.
* Report injuries involving staff or members of the public to the Centre Manager.
* Record and pass on customer complaints to the Centre Manager.
* Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
* Maintain a high level of customer service.
* Assist in managing the Centre’s quality assurance systems.
* Undertake cleaning and other duties as required.
* Comply with regulatory requirements.
* Adhere to company financial regulations, especially in cash handling.
* Provide a safe and efficient service to the public.
* Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Centre Manager to meet business objectives.
Candidate Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold a recognised qualification in Catering or a related field, along with a first aid certificate and a Food and Hygiene Certificate. A strong knowledge of the leisure industry or similar small/medium enterprise experience is preferred.
