About The Role
This role leads and coordinates the Executive Office, ensuring the effective delivery of strategic priorities across the organisation. Working closely with the Principal/CEO, the postholder provides high-level strategic and operational support, enabling strong governance, informed decision-making, and the smooth execution of executive initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Line manage and develop the PA team, ensuring high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and responsiveness.
* Manage executive level meetings and events ensuring they are well planned, efficient and operate to a high professional standard.
* Manage the development and continuous improvement of digital executive office systems and processes.
* Manage the digital systems for document management, workflow tracking, and executive communications.
* Manage executive level action & project planning including monitoring and reporting.
* Support the Principal/CEO with the preparation of correspondence, reports, presentations, and strategic documents.
* Prepare briefing papers and analysis to support the Principal/CEO.
* Support decision-making processes.
* Liaise with the Governance Professional to support the Principal/CEO and Executive Team to be well prepared for governance meetings/events with high quality supporting papers and information.
* Use advanced Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, Power BI) to streamline operations and reporting.
* Utilise action planning, risk and policy management software.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
* Lead planning and delivery of Principal & CEO level events and engagements.
Skills And Expertise
* Experience in strategic coordination or project leadership.
* Proven experience in a senior administrative or executive level support role.
* Strong ability to balance competing priorities and influence senior stakeholders.
* Team leadership & management skills and experience.
* Advanced IT proficiency, including Microsoft 365, digital workflow tools, and data reporting platforms
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
* Experience in an education environment (Desirable)
Qualifications And Training
* Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification equivalent in Business Administration, Management, or related field
