Key aspects of the role include: * Developing and implementing commercial strategies to grow market share * Leading, mentoring, and motivating multi-disciplinary teams * Building long-term partnerships with blue-chip clients and stakeholders * Overseeing operations to ensure regulatory compliance and best-in-class processes * Championing a culture of continuous improvement, service excellence, and innovation * Maximising revenue, optimising customer journeys, and improving cash flow * Seeking out new opportunities in sectors with high volumes of customer accounts and complex billing environments The suitable candidate for Managing Director will need to possess the following skills and experience: * Operated at board or executive level within large-scale, service-led organisations. * Led a business with high volume sales and a turnover in excess of £25m, ideally £40m as the business is looking to scale up. * Hands-on experience managing teams in sectors such as utilities, energy, telecoms, local government, financial services or engineering/manufacturing with high volume b2b or b2c customers accounts * A strong commercial track record, with experience delivering growth and profitability. * Demonstrable ability to build trusted client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations. * Understanding of regulated markets and a commitment to operational excellence. * Experience of working with high customer volumes, credit management, or complex billing advantageous * Experience with mergers and acquisitions is highly attractive but not essential.
