Compliance Officer – Learning Disability Supported Living Service

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our growing Learning Disability Supported Living Service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about quality, safeguarding, and ensuring excellent standards of care for people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
About the Role
As Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring our services remain fully compliant with CQC regulations, internal policies, safeguarding standards, and best practice guidelines. You will work closely with management teams to promote continuous improvement and high-quality person-centred support.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements
Conduct audits, inspections, and quality assurance checks across supported living services
Review care plans, risk assessments, incident reports, and staff records
Support managers with action plans and service improvements
Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed effectively
Deliver compliance guidance and support to staff teams
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for senior management
Assist with policies, procedures, and governance processes
Support investigations, complaints handling, and incident management where requiredRequirements
Experience working within health and social care, preferably supported living or learning disability services
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance frameworks
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Experience carrying out audits and quality monitoring
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Level 3 or above qualification in Health & Social Care (preferred)
