Title: Registered Manager
Accountable to: Area/Service Manager and Directors
Responsible for: Senior Staff and all other staff members, Residents and their representatives.
Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for a new challenge, working for a family run organisation with full support.
We are looking to recruit someone passionate about providing the best class quality care for our Residents and to strive to make a real difference to the older people we look after. You will receive extensive induction period working alongside the management and the whole team.
The successful candidate for the Registered Manager:
-Completed Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Adult Care
-Has a proven track record in providing the highest quality of services within elderly Residential care services.
-Has the ability to build fantastic working relationships.
- Has strong influencing skills and is commercially aware
-Has the drive and motivation to develop care services
-Has strong organisation and planning skills.
-Is flexible to meet the demands of the business.
-An experienced Registered Manager
-Strong understanding of HR processes.
-Proven ability leading and managing a team.
-Strong business acumen.
Main responsibilities:
-To provide overall day to day management of the service. Direct a high degree of service delivery through staff motivation, effective management practices and relationships.
-Work closely with the Area/Service Manager to build strategic, long term bench marks to develop and grow the business to benefit those we are caring for.
-Actively encourage a proactive and strategic business attitude with all levels of employees.
-Be responsible for the companies performance.
-Formulating and successfully implementing company policies
-Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with statutory CQC and Health and Safety requirements and organisational policies and procedures.
Staff Management:
-Responsible for overseeing the development of all staff and create strategies that reflect the staffing needs and assist in successful recruitment, selection and retention practices.
-Maintain and develop systems that underpin performance and development of all staff including appraisals, supervisions and team meetings.
-Maintain competency levels for staff through effective training programmes and assessments and monitoring practices.
-Evaluate staff learning and development and enable improvements to be made to ensure staff competency levels are regularly reviewed.
Health and Safety:
-Be familiar with and update all policies and procedures with regard to Health and Safety, including accident reporting and fire procedures.
-undertake training as required.
-Assess risks and update risk assessments
