We are seeking a talented and driven Bid Proposals Manager to join our Preconstruction team at Warden. This is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the Managing Director, and responsible for the end-to-end management of our bid and proposal activities, with a direct impact on the company’s growth and success. You will lead a dedicated team of four across bid writing, digital marketing, and social value functions. Your focus will be to ensure the timely, strategic, and high-quality delivery of EOIs, PQQs, ITTs, and framework submissions – contributing to our ongoing pipeline of new business opportunities.

Your responsibilities
As Bid Proposals Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and submission of all EOIs, PQQs, and ITTs for the business. In this departmental leadership role, you will also evaluate new opportunities, recommend bid/no-bid strategies, and contribute to the overall direction of the bid function. Additionally, the role offers the opportunity to manage other key business development activities across the company.
Bid Management & Development
* Lead the planning, development, and submission of compelling, high-quality EOIs, PQQs, and ITTs.
* Develop bid strategies and conduct bid/no-bid evaluations in collaboration with leadership.
* Write and coordinate tailored bid content including CVs, project case studies, and method statements.
* Maintain and manage a bid content library to streamline future submissions.
* Support business development efforts through the creation of persuasive expressions of interest.
* Oversee submission of industry award applications to raise the company’s profile.
* Manage all communication via tender and framework portals.
Framework Management
* Manage communication with external framework clients
* Lead monthly framework reporting and ensure full compliance with framework requirements
* Attend and represent the business in framework engagement meetings.
Digital Marketing & External Communications & Social Value
* Oversee and implement the company’s social media and digital marketing strategy
* Manage website content and ensure timely updates to reflect current projects and achievements
* Develop and coordinate press releases with the external marketing agency.
Social Value Delivery
* Lead the planning and delivery of social value initiatives aligned with client and internal requirements
* Produce accurate and impactful reporting on all social value activity across projects and frameworks.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should be a confident communicator with excellent writing skills, creative flair, and a strong grasp of bid management best practices. Demonstrate you can manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail. Ensure you are a proactive team leader with a collaborative spirit, able to motivate and guide a small team to deliver outstanding results.
