You will be working in the Building Operating Unit where we are responsible for project delivery on a prestigious London project.
We are currently looking for a Design Manager to join our team.
As the Design Manager, you will:
1. Lead and manage the design process from bid stage through to project completion.
2. Coordinate design requirements across clients, consultants, Skanska teams, and subcontractors.
3. Ensure timely release and coordination of design information in line with programme, employer requirements, and contract plans.
4. Collaborate with commercial, MEPH, digital, sustainability, planning, and operational teams.
5. Report on design related matters to the Project Leadership Team.
We are looking for:
6. Strong knowledge of commercial office sector, town planning, and building control processes.
7. Adept at engaging diverse stakeholders including senior leaders and technical experts.
8. Proficient in digital design tools (CDE, BIM) and ISO19650 standards.
9. Experienced with sustainability frameworks (BREEAM, WELL, NABERs, low carbon).
10. Proven leadership experience in delivering £50 million –£200 million + commercial office projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
