Job Description
* Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy.
* Lead internal and external communication initiatives.
* Collaborate with marketing and other departments to align company messages.
* Oversee the creation of marketing and promotional materials.
* Manage communication crises and media relations.
* Monitor and report on communication performance metrics.
* Ensure compliance with the law (e.g. copyright and data protection).
The Successful Applicant
A successful Communications Officer should have:
* A degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a relevant field.
* Public sector experience
* Proven experience in a similar role within the public sector
* Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with design software
* Experience in web design and content production is a plus.
