Our Team
Our Sustainability team specializes in helping client organizations measure, manage, and reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions, and achieve broader sustainability goals. Our services include:
* Delivery of city/regional carbon reduction programs
* Development of carbon management strategies, including Net Zero strategies
* Carbon footprint and greenhouse gas reporting, and ESG disclosures
* Identification and assessment of energy-saving opportunities and investment case support
* Green building certification assurance on real estate projects
* Estates decarbonization and heat decarbonization plans
* Net Zero program management and delivery
Our specialist Cities & Workplaces team is growing in response to rising demand from private and public sector organizations. We seek individuals with experience in building certification and/or real estate decarbonization to enhance our resources.
Job Description
We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate experience with Heat Network (HN) and wider Distributed Energy (DE) projects or programs. By Distributed Energy, we refer to flexible, resilient, low to zero carbon heat and power networks, including heat networks, solar PV, heat pumps, energy storage, demand-side flexibility, smart and vehicle-to-grid charging for electric vehicles.
Experience in project development (scoping, business case, finance, high-level technical consultancy) for schemes involving heat networks, local energy networks, smart grids, and battery storage, potentially integrating with home EV charging and car battery storage, is desirable.
Qualifications
We seek experienced professionals with expertise in HN and DE across various commissions, possessing some or all of the following competencies:
* High-quality service delivery and client management
* Consultancy experience in DE and HN projects
* Successful track record in facilitating and delivering DE schemes
* Knowledge of DE solutions and technologies
* Excellent customer relationship skills
* Understanding of metering, billing regulations, and government policies on HN
* Programme management and organizational skills
* Knowledge of energy demands in buildings and relevant regulations
Preferred skills include business development, stakeholder engagement, energy strategy development, and data analysis for DE.
