The Account Analyst plays a vital role in servicing PIMCO’s clients. The primary responsibility is to support client-servicing professionals to deliver exceptional service. This involves gathering, analyzing, and discussing economic trends, supporting reporting requirements, and delivering performance attribution analyses to account managers.
This position requires an analytical, detail-oriented professional who can:
* Prepare accurate and efficient client reports on performance, trading activity, portfolio valuation, and risk metrics.
* Develop understanding of market factors to perform qualitative and complex investment analyses.
* Utilize tools such as Excel, macros, query tools, internet resources, and ideally Bloomberg and Yieldbook.
* Support the Account Management team with market and portfolio data.
* Analyze portfolio data, including performance attribution.
* Automate and streamline reporting processes.
* Produce ad-hoc reports for clients and internal teams.
* Ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely work.
* Listen actively and ask questions to meet customer needs.
* Adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.

* Fluent German language skills are required; Swiss-German is an advantage.
* 0-2 years of experience in financial services, preferably in a similar role.
* Graduated with a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent) from an accredited university.
* Motivated to provide excellent client service and build strong relationships.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
* Ability to articulate ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing, in a complex financial environment.
