This is a mainstream entry school and provides an exciting and relevant curriculum which motivates the children to learn collaboratively and independently.
Your new role
In this role, you will be required to teach a class for part of the week (class to be confirmed) and then the rest of the week will be dedicated to covering PPA. You will be taking on full teaching responsibilities, which will include planning and delivering lessons. You will need to make these fun and engaging and ensure it suits the needs of the pupils. Class sizes are reasonable, and you should have experience of dealing with challenging behaviour.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status. Experience across all year groups would be beneficial. You need to be a good team player, have good time management and behaviour management skills.
If you are not a qualified teacher, but have recent experience working with children, we may have other roles available for you.
