About the role:
We are expanding our team and seeking individuals to join us as Shift Supervisors at our Big Blue location in Swindon as permanent members. Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will lead and develop Warehouse Operatives, focusing on process adherence to increase efficiency and quality while reducing environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities:
Safety:
* Ensure your own safety and that of others
* Use PPE appropriately and report all accidents, incidents, and near misses
Leadership and team development:
* Support training and up-skilling of team members
* Lead complex tasks as assigned
* Act as a proxy for the Shift Manager when necessary
* Support junior staff with technical questions
Inventory:
Report low stock, missing items, and maintenance issues
Operations:
Take a senior role within the processing team, escalating issues when needed
Quality and customer experience:
* Ensure processed items meet quality standards
* Assist with customer queries about orders
* Own your tasks and ensure standards are met
Key Relationships:
* Report to the Shift Manager, who supports your development and oversees operations
* Work with Revenue Operations and Account Managers on customer complaints and escalations
Requirements:
Key Qualities & Competencies:
* Knowledge of lean operation/manufacturing and H&S practices
Technology, automation, and innovation:
* Basic computer system knowledge
* Ability to interpret data and count items accurately
