Job Description:
Location: Liverpool, L13
Start Date: 1st September 2025 - 18th December 2025
Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 3:00pm)
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide targeted emotional, behavioural, and academic support to pupils
* Build strong, trusting relationships with children to promote self-esteem and resilience
* Assist in de-escalating challenging situations calmly and safely
* Work alongside teachers and staff to deliver personalised interventions and strategies
* Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Use initiative and stay solution-focused in unpredictable situations
Requirements:
* Experience working with children with SEMH or behavioural needs is desirable
* Ability to stay calm, patient, and compassionate under pressure
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive, resilient, and empathetic approach
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
