Are you ready to step into a senior or principal level civil engineering role, or already operating at that level and looking for a company that genuinely invests in its people? This is a drainage-focused position with a strong emphasis on building drainage and close coordination with civil and structural teams.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping projects from concept through delivery, while mentoring and resourcing junior engineers with a proactive, supportive approach. As part of the line management team, and you will actively support career development, lead projects, manage budgets, liaise with contractors, and take ownership of health and safety responsibilities.
They are seeking an engineer with at least 5 years’ UK experience within a multi-disciplinary consultancy, a degree in civil or structural engineering, and strong working knowledge of drainage design software. You will be working towards professional qualification, comfortable engaging with Local Authorities and wider design teams, and naturally inclined to lead, mentor and collaborate.
A genuine interest across a range of sectors is essential, and experience in flood risk assessments, SuDS and bulk earthworks would be a strong advantage.
