Hourly Rate: £16.56ph plus bonus scheme £2.32ph
Role based: Portakabin Ltd, New Lane, Huntington, York, YO32 9PT
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 7:30am to 4:30pm, on Fridays from 7:30am to 12:30pm
We are seeking a Joiner to join our skilled team in Unit 1 Joinery based in York.
Working as part of the team, your role will be responsible for carrying out all tasks necessary to deliver the Unit 1 Joinery Departments Products, Services and business objectives, while demonstrating a positive, co-operative attitude focussed on delivery, process improvement and self-development.
Responsibilities
* Work in an organised and efficient manner in order to achieve production programs in line with local KPI’s,
* Interpret designs and carry out joinery tasks ensuring all items are manufactured correctly as per the drawings/specifications,
* Comply with auditable systems and procedures, in a timely and professional manner, in order to maintain company certification and accreditation,
* Work safely at all times whilst delivering excellent levels of housekeeping in order to sustain a safe working environment,
* Remain focused on Quality and value in the eyes of our customers in order to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction,
* Ensure compliance with all legislation, codes of practice, industry guidelines. Company policies and procedures relating to H&S.

Our ideal candidate
We are looking for someone who has:
* Trade qualifications at NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (relevant to area) is essential,
* Strong experience gained within manufacturing/construction/related industry
* Strong operational experience related to trade/role
* Good level of numeracy/literacy
* Ability to plan, organising, problem solving
* Ability for decision making
