Become a Central Merchandise Planning Analyst As a Central Merchandising Planning Analyst, your role will be at the heart of analysing business process, identifying areas for improvement, helping design solutions that meet our business objectives and enhance the operational efficiency of all things related to Space Optimisation and Merchandise Planning. Your Mission Create & maintain centralised reporting and appropriate trackers to support pillars with ad-hoc, weekly & seasonal KPI reporting Support Pillars in optimising sales, stock holding, margin and availability. Provide weekly seasonal and ad hoc analysis of range and promotional performance vs plan to inform relevant actions. Channel reporting (store / web) both weekly and ad hoc reporting consolidated centrally Ongoing space and density analysis and recommendations to ensure optimisation of the store estate WSSI exceptions reporting to ensure consistency and alignment Stockflow and DC capacity planning – identifying and highlighting challenges vs stock targets from the point of order raising through to DC Create and maintain appropriate trackers and planners to allow full visibility of range make up and performance vs plan Coordinate Sale clearance central roll ups and costings through to weekly sell through reporting Develop Solutions - Propose and implement solutions to enhance business operations, which may include new software, processes, or systems. Support Implementation - Assist in the implementation of new systems and processes, providing training and support to team. Skills/Behaviours That Will Set You Apart Strong Excel; analytical skills and problem-solving skills to assess business needs and develop effective solutions. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data analysis tools, business intelligence software, and project management methodologies.
