Overview: Manage certification activities, stakeholder engagement, and business changes for naval safety and compliance. Location: Hybrid – Abbey Wood, Bristol (3 days/week onsite) Rate: Up to £550/day (Inside IR35, via umbrella company) Contract Duration: ASAP – 30/06/2026 (240 days) Key Responsibilities: - Manage and develop functions within Naval Authority Development Group (NADG). - Produce and update Naval Authority Notices and Directives. - Develop and manage PowerBI dashboards, monthly and weekly metrics. - Oversee business change plans and stakeholder engagement activities. - Assist with certification strategy approvals and delegations. - Support NAIMS administration and management tasks. - Develop Naval Authority Guidance and Publications. - Evaluate and report on safety management tools including ANEP102 and SUBSAFE. - Provide detailed reports on submarine issues and certification status. Essential Experience & Skills: - Knowledge of UK Defence Safety and Environmental Business Processes. - Experienced in Safety Management policies and processes. - Understanding of Defence Maritime operations. - Awareness of the Naval Authority and certification roles. - High proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Desirable Experience: - Submarine Certification knowledge. - Ship Certification experience, including Classification Societies. - Boat Certification knowledge. - Experience with PowerBI. Additional Information: - UK nationals with active SC clearance required. - Regular onsite attendance and stakeholder engagement required.
