About the Team
Schroders has launched a bold three‑year transformation roadmap focused on returning to profitable growth through Simplify, Scale, and Deliver. With targets of £150 million in annualised cost savings and £20 billion in net new business for Schroders Capital, the programme reshapes the operating model across Public Markets, Private Assets and Wealth. Business Transformation Solutions (BTS) is the centre of excellence for internal consulting. BTS partners with Executive Committee and functional leaders, supporting the ambitious three‑year transformation aimed at driving profitable growth, simplification and innovation across all business pillars.
BTS Core Consulting Capabilities
 * Strategic Elicitation & Design: Trusted advisors working with senior leaders and the Group Transformation Office to design high‑impact strategic initiatives.
 * Business Model & Operating Model Design: Partnering with owners to design and optimise models, supporting pillar objectives and organisational transformation.
 * Impact Assessment: Evaluating opportunities and risks to maximise the effectiveness and value of strategic and operational initiatives.
 * Transformation Roadmap Development: Structuring and sequencing programmes of work, prioritising business value, risk and organisational capacity.
 * Business Case Development: Rigorous, outcome‑focused business cases that align with governance and drive sustainable value.

 * Executing transformation roadmaps for the wealth platform, supporting scalability and integration with broader capabilities to improve adviser and client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
 * Support the delivery of specific workstreams or smaller consulting assignments within investment management, personal wealth, or private equity, with increasing autonomy.
 * Lead project deliverables, independently managing scope, timelines and quality, while ensuring alignment to objectives and proactively resolving issues.
 * Design and lead analysis, research and problem‑solving activities to develop insights and recommendations, and provide guidance and QA to junior team members.
 * Manage stakeholder interactions, ensuring high‑quality delivery and effective engagement.
 * Mentor and support junior team members, sharing best practices.
 * Contribute to thought leadership, service model development and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
 * Assist in designing and implementing solutions for stakeholders, leveraging industry expertise and analytical skills.
Personal Profile: Experience
 * Typically 5‑7 years in a consultancy role or as a high‑performing analyst, ideally within asset management, wealth, or private markets. Variations in length and background are encouraged.
 * Proven track record of delivering or leading significant project workstreams in consulting, ideally including large‑scale transformation programmes.
 * Experience in business case development, structured impact assessment and translating analysis into actionable recommendations.
 * Strong understanding of the investment management value chain; experience across front, middle and back office functions and a breadth of investment products is advantageous.
 * Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members, with excellent communication skills.
 * Developing productive relationships with clients, stakeholders and team members, and building strong internal and external networks.
 * Participation in knowledge‑sharing initiatives and contribution to intellectual capital development.
Personal Profile: Qualifications
 * Bachelor's degree (2.1 or above). Professional qualifications such as CFA, CIMA or IMC are preferred.
