Overview
Citi’s Markets Operations Belfast team supports a wide range of internal stakeholders and external clients, playing a key role in the client experience. This role sits within Citi’s Business Intelligence & Process Reengineering Team, focusing on analysis, problem solving and communication within a global financial institution. The Belfast office is located in the Titanic Quarter, offering development opportunities in a supportive, diverse environment.

Role Overview
The team is recruiting a project analyst to execute global initiatives across Middle Office and Securities Settlements, covering Cash Equities and Fixed Income. Initiatives include regulatory work, strategic re-architecture and process improvement.
What you'll do
* Execute established project management disciplines, including developing program governance and managing stakeholders to drive planning and execution
* Identify, prioritise and proactively manage dependencies, risks, exceptions and issues
* Evaluate front-to-back control processes, anticipate requirements and identify areas for improvement with SMEs
* Communicate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze and validate requirements for changes to control processes in workshops and other forums
* Analyze information with independence and as part of the team
* Work with sponsors to ensure trackable, tangible benefits and KPIs
* Collaborate with technology to ensure clear delivery plans aligned to Operations strategy and hold delivery plan owners to account
* Facilitate User Acceptance Testing with internal and external teams where required
* Develop presentations to Markets Operations and business management on project status and plans
* Contribute to the design and delivery of Operations training plans and materials; present training to groups as required
What we'll need from you
* Knowledge of a process in Securities products (Equities, Fixed Income, SBL or Prime)
* Ability to work independently, multi-task, stay organized and maintain attention to detail; take ownership of project parts
* Ability to lead conference calls and produce meeting agendas, materials and minutes
* Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and process mapping skills
* Excellent communication skills across audiences and in facilitating discussions
* Willingness to ask questions, challenge processes and seek answers
