Job Overview:
The role of the Social Media Manager is to lead the development, execution, and management of our social media presence across key platforms including Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, and YouTube (including Shorts).
In collaboration with our Social Media Strategist, the Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating monthly content strategies that align with the three core pillars of our brand. This role involves managing and maintaining a comprehensive content calendar, independently creating high-quality content, and playing a pivotal role in driving product launches, marketing campaigns, and community engagement. The role demands a balance of strategic planning and hands-on creativity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Social Media Strategist to design and implement monthly social media strategies.
* Create, plan, and manage a dynamic content calendar in line with company goals and industry trends.
* Independently produce, film, and edit high-quality content using a professional camera and smartphone.
* Lead social media campaigns, marketing activations, and support event-driven initiatives and product launches.
* Ensure content is optimised for each platform (Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, YouTube & YouTube Shorts).
* Monitor and manage social media budgets, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting of all expenses.
* Create engaging, on-brand visual and graphic content using editing tools and software.
* Analyse performance metrics and generate monthly reports (desirable skill).
* Foster positive relationships with partners, clients, and internal stakeholders.
* Manage online communities, including comment moderation and engagement (particularly on YouTube Membership models).
* Stay ahead of cultural and social trends, identifying opportunities for timely and relevant content.
About You:
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in social media management or a related role.
* Demonstrated experience developing social content strategies and executing them end-to-end.
* Proven success managing social media campaigns and activations, especially around product launches.
* Proficient with Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, YouTube and YouTube Shorts.
* Strong background in content production, including video creation with both professional and mobile equipment.
* Experience working with clients, brand partners and internal cross-functional teams.
* Skilled in graphic design and content editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, etc)
* Proven track record in crafting compelling brand stories that drive engagement and growth.
