Overview
We are seeking a skilled Window Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and have experience with various fitting techniques. This role involves the installation of windows in residential properties. The successful applicant will work closely with other tradespeople to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Duties
* Install, repair, and replace windows in accordance with industry standards and specifications.
* Collaborate with carpenters, plumbers, and electricians to ensure seamless integration of window fittings.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for precise installations.
* Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and specifications.
* Perform masonry work as needed to ensure proper fitting of windows into existing structures.
* Conduct plastering and construction painting tasks to finish installations professionally.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing client queries and ensuring satisfaction with completed work.
* Must have own Van to transport windows.
Experience
* Proven experience in window fitting.
* Strong knowledge of construction practices, including the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication methods.
* Must have up to date Asbestos awareness, working at heights and manual handling certification.
