The Role
A leading financial services technology team is looking for a Product Owner to join its Belfast hub.
You'll own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery of Communication Surveillance technology, ensuring regulatory compliance and business alignment.
You'll work closely with stakeholders, engineering, and compliance teams to prioritise features, manage the backlog, and oversee testing and controls across communication platforms.

What You'll Do
* Define and deliver Product Vision, Strategy, Roadmap, and KPIs for communication surveillance technology products
* Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise features and clarify scope
* Manage the backlog, including user stories, capacity, and prioritisation
* Embed Agile methodologies across delivery teams
* Act as the voice of end users and stakeholders
* Oversee testing and controls for recorded communication platforms (voice, chat, mobile)
* Monitor issues, risks, and dependencies, keeping teams and stakeholders informed
* Liaise between IT and Compliance, managing vendor support and platform integration
* Support User Acceptance Testing and stakeholder sign-off
Tech Stack & Skills
You should have:
* 5+ years in Product Owner, Delivery Manager, or Scrum Master roles
* Strong experience in Agile delivery and coaching teams on agile practices
* Subject Matter Expertise in Business Communications Technology (e.g., Teams Chat, WhatsApp for Business, Bloomberg, ICE, BT Turrets, Cloud 9, Mobile Voice)
* Solid understanding of regulatory obligations for communication record keeping and surveillance
* Proven leadership in high-pressure, dynamic environments
* Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and decision-making skills
* Experience with data management, governance, and budget management
Nice to have:
* AI/ML experience in Compliance Technology
* Project management experience in regulated financial services
