Mental Health Support Co-Ordinator
This role may be part-time (a minimum of 30 hrs per week) or full-time (37.5 hours) or an agreed amount between the two.
Alliance Psychological Services is an independent provider of counselling and psychological therapy services based in the Tees Valley area and working across the North-East region.
Our Alliance Plus, Private and Commercial service provides bespoke, comprehensive support for individuals, employers, employees, and professionals. Our highly experienced, fully accredited team offers top-quality support, including training, development programs, and therapeutic services.
We are seeking a Mental Health Support Co-Ordinator to join our busy Alliance Plus Team.
Main duties of the job
This role involves conducting assessments, creating care plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and providing ongoing support to ensure clients receive appropriate care. The post holder will offer clinical and administrative support, contribute to waiting list management, assist in evidence-based self-help interventions, and help develop referral pathways.
This position may require flexible hours between 8am and 8pm on weekdays.
You must have full right to work in the UK; we are unable to offer visa sponsorship.

Salary and Contract
£25,000 to £26,000 per year pro-rata.

Location: Stockton-on-Tees, Cleveland.
Job Responsibilities
Working as part of the clinical team:
* Build effective relationships within the team and externally.
* Provide triage assessments for clients entering the Alliance Plus pathway.
* Support clients while waiting for treatment, maintaining contact, and providing information.
* Advise and support the wider team, GPs, and other health professionals regarding mental health issues and referral pathways.
* Coordinate with secondary care and voluntary sector services.
* Attend meetings and prepare reports.
* Assist in service development and promotion.
Providing therapeutic interventions and support:
* Assist with assessments, including risk assessments, across all pathways.
* Help deliver therapeutic interventions, including groupwork and digital therapies.
* Provide resources, signposting, and information.
* Make onward referrals as needed.
* Maintain client confidentiality.
Supporting service development:
* Assist in induction and ongoing training of new staff.
* Contribute to pathway improvements and service targets.
Safeguarding:
* Promote welfare and operate within safeguarding policies.
* Support families in accessing Early Help Services.
* Share information with agencies within confidentiality protocols.
Professional and ethical service:
* Maintain records and undertake CPD activities.
* Engage in clinical supervision.
* Follow professional guidelines and health and safety policies.
* Promote diversity and rights of service users.
Confidentiality:
* Handle confidential information responsibly, sharing only with authorized persons.
