Principal Consultant - Tax with JSS Search - Specializing in finding new opportunities for tax professionals

JSS Tax are hiring for a Tax Accountant for a leading Northamptonshire business.

This is a full-time permanent role paying circa £45k-£60k plus bonus/benefits package and with 2 or 3 days per week remote working.

Reporting into the Head of Tax, the position covers all areas of direct tax and indirect tax (corporation tax, VAT, employment tax (P11d's, PAYE, PSA) and R&D tax.

The role contains a mix of hands-on tax compliance and review, business partnering, responding to tax queries from the business and ad-hoc project work.

The role would suit someone part-qualified or recently qualified (ACA / ACCA / CTA etc), though candidates qualified by experience will also be considered.

Broad tax experience would be ideal, but they are happy to consider candidates with a background just in corporation tax as long as they are happy to take on a wider role (with full training and support).

It's an ideal position for someone in practice looking for their first role in-house role, but would equally suit someone working in industry who wants a broader role, or who is just looking for a step up in remuneration.
