This is a fully site‑based, hands‑on leadership role managing BMS‑related project delivery, coordination, and performance across a mission‑critical environment. Ideal for someone experienced in fast‑paced data centers with strong oversight of BMS operations, integrations, and upgrade works. The Role As the BMS Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all BMS‑related project activities within a live 24/7 data center environment. You will ensure that works are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with required standards while supporting stakeholders, contractors, and operations teams. Your work will be central to maintaining uptime and delivering continuous improvements across critical mechanical and environmental infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Leading and coordinating all BMS project activities on site Managing project timelines, budgets, documentation, and reporting Acting as primary point of contact for BMS upgrades, migrations, and integration works Overseeing contractors and ensuring alignment with SOPs/MOPs/EOPs Reviewing project risks, impacts, and mitigation plans in a live data center environment Ensuring minimal operational disruption during planned works Supporting root‑cause investigations, incident reviews, and improvement planning Managing change control, method statements, and compliance documentation Ensuring clear communication between operations, engineering teams, and vendors Reviewing trend data, system performance, and project deliverables to support capacity and efficiency planning Candidate Requirements (Must‑Have) Proven Data Center project management experience is essential (You must understand the behaviours, risks, and constraints of BMS systems in a live mission‑critical environment.) Full eligibility to work in the UK; no sponsorship available (Contract requirements mean you must already hold right‑to‑work status.) Strong understanding of BMS architecture, HVAC/cooling systems, power and environmental controls Demonstrable experience managing contractors, vendors, and technical stakeholders Confident working with SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, and change‑control processes Ability to perform calmly and effectively in high‑pressure scenarios Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills Available for an ASAP start Comfortable working 100% on site in a mission‑critical facility Why This Role?
